Ready, set go for Bluff Vets race

4.7km walk: Paulos Shoba 37.42

ATHLETES from across the province will converge on the Fynnland Combined Sport Club, 55 Smith Drive, Bluff, on Sunday, 15 November to participate in the 50th running of the Bluff Vets half marathon and 15km walk.

Activities are expected to commence from around 4am and should culminate around 11am.

Residents are urged to exercise patience by allowing the Metro Police and marshals to perform their duties during the day.

The club chairman said: “I extend my sincere appreciation to residents of the Bluff, Merewent and Wentworth for allowing the minimal disruption on the day and assure them all that we, together with the relevant authorities, will do everything within our power to ensure the event goes off as smoothly as possible.”
