Nigel, Robbie lead YWP golfers home
First Robbie “one out” Marten and Nigel “ballies plumbing” Lotz with 58 points.
YELLOWWOOD Park Golf Club was once again fortunate with the weather for their monthly golf day played at Toti on Sunday, 4 October.
Although the start was delayed by half an hour due to the course being quite busy, this did not dampen the spirits of the 16 players who were able to play.
With the format being drawn partners, eventual winners were as follows: First Robbie ‘One out’ Marten and Nigel ”Ballies plumbing’ Lotz with 58 points. Second Kevin ‘Joker’ Lacey and Alan ‘Oil baron’ Smith with 54 points. Third Warren ‘Short head’ Lester and Brian ‘Junior’ Marten with 53 points.
Nearest the pins were on fourth Warren ‘Short Head’ Lester, on the 15th Nigel ‘Ballies plumbing’ Lotz and on the 17th, Nic ‘Can’t make it’ Field.
