Bluff BC looks ahead to nominated pairs matches

Friday, 2 October is 3-2-1 killer sponsored by June Foster and Eddie Human, while Sunday sees the start of the Port Natal fours.

ONLY three competitions were played over the weekend at Bluff Bowling Club.

In the women’s senior singles Glynis Mackrory beat Judy Marais, while in the mixed nominated pairs Clinton and Sarie Bisset beat Dawn and Kurt Spack.

In a closely contested men’s nominated pairs game Robert Mhlongo and Noel Morel beat Gary Moffat and Jorge Santos.

There are two nominated pairs games posted for Saturday, 3 October. Clinton and Sarie Bisset play Eddie Human and Chrissy Smith and the other game is between Robert Mhlongo and Glynis Mackrory against Deon Els and Phylis Maritz. The bring and braai was not well supported by club members and the club thanks those visitors who did support the event, as it is intended for this to be a monthly event. Members are asked to make an effort to support the club.

The club also wishes good bowling to its seven teams. Members are asked to check the notice board as those not in contention on 10 and 11 October may be posted for club competitions.
