DURBAN Ramblers Hiking Club members will explore Bux Farms in Summerveld on Saturday, 29 August.

Note the earlier meeting time at the Assagay Hotel at 1.30pm, from where members will drive to the parking spot at 1.45pm. No shorter hike is planned. This hike contains steep descents in parts. It is graded four, or strenuous and carries a vertigo warning.
On Sunday, 30 August hikers will take a hike to Monteseel, Cato Ridge. Call hike leader Philip Collyer on 082-417-0204.
Meet at the Hacienda Pub, Andries Street, Monteseel at 9am or Union Main Centre, Old Main Road, Pinetown at 8.15am. The hike follows the contours of the escarpment and then steeply down into the valley and back, and thus carries a vertigo warning. Suggested petrol sharing is R20.
This 17km hike is graded four, strenuous.
