Gloria seals 21-2 win in women’s club singles bowls
On Friday, 22 May the club meat draw was won by Bill Hewer, Carole Lauderdale and Lizzie Nichols.

SATURDAY afternoon saw Gloria Rice and Linda Hewer playing against each other in the women’s club singles competition at Woodlands Bowling Club.
Well done to Gloria on her good win of 21-2.
Both men’s league teams won their games at Hillcrest.
On Wednesday the club hosts the open pairs competition. To enter a team, call Linda Hewer on 082-724-6575 and on Thursday is the casual four’s breakfast. To enter a team, call Arthur Carlyle on 076-588-7377.
On Friday, 22 May the club meat draw was won by Bill Hewer, Carole Lauderdale and Lizzie Nichols. Dennis Tarbotan was there to grab the winnings from the snowball. The swindle winners were Ethne Bond, Alan Bower, Lizzie Nichols, Peter Jenkins, Dennis Tarbotan, Maggie Tarbotan, Andy Carstens and Yvonne Koen.
On Friday, 30 May the meat raffles were won by George Moore, Mitford Holder and Bill Hewer. J Demmer was not there to take the snowball so it’s a carry over. The club swindle winners were Trev Hubbard, Gordon Voight, Derrick Botha, Basil Willimas, Dennis Tarbotan (twice), Lyndon Smith and Cobus Janse van Rensburg.
