Terry and Ken are ‘Big Jim’ winners

WENTWORTH Bowling Club had a quiet week with the following results:
Results for family and friends fun bowls played on Wednesday, 21 January: First prize went to Dirk Venter and Zoë Dougall and the sportsman’s prize was won by Eileen du Plessis and Anne Bonthrone. The 60/40 board was won by Frank Greyvenstein and Anne Bonthrone.
Results for the Bluff Meats men’s pensioners played on Friday, 23 January:
First prize went to Graham Bransby, Joe McNamarra and Dave Matthews with + 26, second prize was taken by Dirk Venter, Brian Smith and Henry Welgemoed with + 18. The sportsman’s prize went to Colin Coetzee, Steve Evenwell and Ron Parsonage. The first 60/40 board was won by Graham Bransby and Smiler Wilesmith and second board went to Grego McGuiness and Dave Matthews. The Big Jim competition was played on Sunday, 25 January and the results are:
First prize winners were Terry Micholson and Ken Koch, second prize went to Garry Moffat and Lilah Nel. Second session prize was won by John Somerville and Colin Nicholas. The first 60/040 board was won by Lady Maria Cavanagh and Sir Ron Addinoll, second board went to Bokka van der Westhuizen and Caroline Addinoll. Ronel won the meat raffle and David Carroll won the whisky raffle. The next Big Jim will be Sunday, 22 February.
