Soccer season gets underway at Fynnland FC

In line with the club’s growth strategy, the Fynnland FC would like to field a women's team for the 2015 season.

FYNNLAND Football Club has started with its preparations for the 2015 soccer season.

After a successful 2014 season, players and coaches have a tough act to follow and are going to be pushed to their limits to achieve the same high standards. There is no doubt that they will succeed and that the 2015 season will be more successful and will see the club grow in strength and numbers.

The Fynnland senior sides have already started training. They train on Mondays and Thursdays from 6.30pm to 8pm. Until now, the turnout at training has been excellent and bodes well for the forthcoming season. The club welcomes new players and anyone interested in trying out for the teams are invited to attend training. This season the senior teams will be under the leadership and guidance of Jonathan Cauvin, Billy Laidlaw and Gary Herbert.

In line with the club’s growth strategy, the Fynnland FC would like to field a women’s team for the 2015 season. Anyone interested in playing, coaching or managing, contact Ben on 081-401-2658.

The juniors will start training at the beginning of March, exact dates are still to be confirmed. The club is looking for additional junior coaches and managers, anyone interested in getting involved contact Ben on 081-401-2658. Training dates and coaches details will be published in due course.

The club will hold its AGM on Wednesday, 4 February at the Fynnland CSC hall at 6.30pm. All current players, coaches and junior parents are encouraged to attend. The club is looking for a secretary and a media officer, if anyone is interested, contact Ben on 081-401-2658.
