Results for the South Coast Pensioners’ League played on Tuesday, 11 November: First prize was taken by Gregg Dorrofield, Colin Coetzee and Dave Carroll, second prize went to Keith Wild, Steve and Willie Gericke. The 60/40 board went to Brian Smith and Ken Koch, and Krystal won the beef raffle.

Results for the family and friends fun bowls played on Wednesday, 12 November: First prize went to Dirk Venter, Dave Carroll and Ron Addinall. Bokka van der Westhuizen and Anne Bonthrone and Bernadette Pool took the sportsman prize. The 60/40 board was won by newly married Ina Davies.

Bluff Meats men’s pensioners bowls played Friday, 14 November: First prize was won by Colin Coetzee, Brian Smith and Smiler Wilesmith with + 25. Second prize went to Ken Koch, Kurt Spack and Robin De Gouveia with + 17. The sportman’s prize went to John Somerville, Ben Venter and Dave Matthews. The pork raffle was won by Stan Mc Kenzie and the beef went to Eric Miller. The first 60/40 board was won by Robin De Gouveia and Flo Harper and the second board went to John Somerville and Eric Miller.

Results for the Chicken Run casual bowls on Sunday, 16 November: Winners of the chickens was Ben Newton and Anne Bonthrone. Second prize went to lucky couple Tom and Maria Cavanagh. The sportsman’s prize was won by Bokka van der Westhuizen and Margaret Walters. The 60/40 board was won by Tomcat Cavanagh and Robin De Gouveia.

The pork raffle went to the Dave Carroll.

There are a few places open for Wentworth Bowling Club’s 75th birthday tournament this weekend. Enter your teams now for this big event with lots of prizes to be won. The format is mixed fours, and entrance fees are R800 per team which includes teas and meals. First prize is R6,000, second prize R4,000 and five session prizes will be given.
