Colin Howes, Anthony Smith, Rosa and Dave Vincent inflicted the worst on their opponents to win the first session by 20 shots along with Mike McFarland, Jumbo Nel, Joe McNamara and Dave Mathews who snaffled the second session on +10. The drawn chocolates sweetened the teeth of Robin Grobbelaar skip, Jeff Bolt third, Hennie Geldenhuis second and Andy Cloete. Jumbo ‘the butcher’ Nel waved his wand to win the meat draw again.

The South Coast pensioners resumes on Tuesday, 18 March.

Stan Mcnamara and Kobus van Vuuren second and third went home with the meat on Friday night and Andy Cox was not present at 6pm, so increasing the snowball next week. Kobus one again came up trumps to have first pick in the Saturday swindle. The other winners were Leonie Venter, Dave Leuchars, Henry van Poggenpoel, Lyndon Smith, Keith Hughes, Merle Hughes, Glen de Wildt and Liz Mundy, Arlene Leuchars won the national lotto bonus number draw, this being her swansong before returning next week to the Isle of Harris to run her B&B in the land of the magic water. The carousing duet of Chubbydale Greg Berry and Lesley Morrison brought the house down in last week’s karaoke and are now taking bookings foe the Royal Albert Hall, Sun City and Madison Square Gardens. Although Greg still does not know the lyrics of ‘The way everyone moves’. Stud is now well positioned to take the universal title of doting babysitter.
