Jorge Santos whisked away the whiskey.

DURBAN Wanderers bowler Andy Andrascho teamed up with Bluff Bowling Club’s (BC) Mouse Ratcliffe to win the Craig Bell any pairs competition which was held this past Sunday, with an overall score of 4+35 and in doing so knocked Alex Fisher and Eileen Du Plessis off the perch.

The first session was won by Elize Stapelberg and Chrissie Smith on a 2+16 while the second session was won by Norman Robinson and Glynis Macrory with a 2+18. There were two 50/50 board draws held and the lucky winners were Keith Wild and John Sommerville. The chicken draw was won by Alex Fisher while Jorge Santos whisked away the whiskey.

There were no lotto winners on Friday night and the attendance draw was also not claimed as Sarie Bisset’s name came out of the hat but unfortunately she was not present. Husband Clinton tried to claim the prize, to no avail. However, Michael Schudel did take home a prize when he won the roast pork raffle.

There was one mixed pairs match played on Saturday afternoon, in which Glynis Macrory and Harvey Simkins defeated Noel Morel and Mari McKenzie.

On Sunday afternoon, the semi finals of the same competition were played and Glynis and Harvey were again successful when they defeated June Foster and Wayne Tonkin 26-14. They will now play Clinton and Sarie Bisset who edged out Dave Rowe and Vicky Williams 20-17 in the other semi final.
