Practise match prepares Quins for hat-trick of away games
Lower league matches will commence in early October Training for seniors will be on Sunday, 22 September.
UMBILO Harlequins Cricket Club’s fourth team was engaged in an early pre-season practise match against a formidable Newlands East side at Harlequins at the weekend.
Although Quins were well beaten on in the game, the occasion provided players with invaluable game time.
Quins seniors had a training session which included the use of their state-of-the-art bowling machine in the nets at 10am on Sunday. The first team's initial three matches are all away events, with the first match being against Verulam at Verulam on Sunday, 29 September. Lower league matches will commence in early October.
Training for seniors is on Sunday, 22 September.
