Sarie is bowling queen of KZN

A green is still closed and the entries are limited to 14 teams.

SARIE Bisset won her second KwaZulu-Natal women’s singles title when she defeated Linda Didlick in the final played at Stella Park last Monday.

Sarie won her first title three years ago and to win it a second time is quite an achievement.

The club congratulates her on her success – well done, the club is proud of you.

There were only three competitions played at the weekend and in the mixed drawn pairs, Noel and Ronel Morel won their match against Spider Williams and Jay Retief, while in the men’s drawn pairs, Tony Hoggins and Rodger Scott defeated Dudley Dorrofield and Wayne Tonkin. The other match was in the men’s nominated pairs competition where Dave Rowe and Allen Ritchie beat Greg Dorrofield and Jorge Santos.

The Craig Bell any pairs date has unfortunately been moved out to Sunday, 15 September due to Port Natal competitions taking place over the first two weekends.

The A green is still closed and the entries are limited to 14 teams, so check the notice board to verify your entry. If anyone has entered and now cannot play, contact Allen Ritchie or Gary Moffat.

The men’s league sides are on the board for this coming Sunday so members are asked to check the notice board for postings.
