M7 a ‘disaster waiting to happen’

EDITOR – The M7 is a disaster waiting to happen.

Fortunately no-one was killed in the 20 car pile-up recently.

I fear worse is to come. Consider how dangerous that road is, especially at night and when it is raining, from South Coast Road to the N2, in both directions. There are very few street lights, sections with no white lines and never-ending patches. The heavy and often overloaded trucks destroy the tar patches in next to no time and the pot holes reappear.

Drivers of vehicles swerve left and right to avoid damaging their tyres. I would like to know how many millions have been spent on the ongoing, ineffectual repairs of this very busy road.
