Woodlands noise nuisance irks resident

Just to let other residents know that we have laws to protect us against such, and as residents, we need to fight to restore peace in our neighbourhood.

EDITOR – Residents in Woodlands are affected by noise coming from Leicester Road, namely Halifax Road, Bathurst and Fairbridge Road.

I find this noise very disturbing especially at night.

We live with this noise 24 hours a day, seven days a week. I have reported this to the department of Environmental Affairs for their intervention. Just to let other residents know that we have laws to protect us against such, and as residents, we need to fight to restore peace in our neighbourhood.

This is not healthy for us and something must be done about it. I am sure I’m not the only one affected by this. We need to fight this as residents.
