Storm-felled tree still plagues Sedgemoor Place

It looks as if something will only be done when there is an accident

EDITOR – I hope Southlands Sun can assist in having this downed tree removed.

It was uprooted during the storm on 10 October.

If a resident had not cut it up, Sedgemoor Place in Woodlands (off Alamein Avenue, the cul de sac part of Sedgemoor Place) would most probably still be totally blocked.

This has been reported on numerous occasions since the storm but the parks department and those in authority just don’t seem interested in removing it. The road is partially blocked, the pavement can’t be used and school children and the rest of the public have to walk in the road to get around this.

There have been two close calls so far. It looks as if something will only be done when there is an accident and somebody is injured or even worse, killed.
