Motorists mount pavement to bypass post-pipe burst road

Motorists are driving partially on the sidewalk to avoid damage to their vehicles and at the same time, this poses a danger to pedestrians and children.

EDITOR – As a ratepayer, note the adjacent photo of the condition of the road surface which was never resurfaced after a water pipe burst two weeks ago, leaving a severe ripple surface at the bottom of Bale Avenue in Woodlands/Montclair.

Motorists are driving partially on the sidewalk to avoid damage to their vehicles and at the same time, this poses a danger to pedestrians and children.

Where are the days when there was pride in one’s work – it appears to be out the window now. In the past when road surfaces were opened, they were closed the same day.
