EDITOR – I would like our community to know that there are good people out there who perform good deeds.
Somebody attempted to steal my car, unsuccessfully while we were in a meeting on Tuesday night.
Unfortunately my handbag was taken containing all the cards one usually keeps in a purse. A man by the name of Edward found my purse, sunglasses and a few other personal possessions on the side of the road while walking home from church.
He handed everything into the Brighton Beach police station, who contacted us the next day. Thankfully I was given Edward’s phone number so I could thank him. He told me that no reward was necessary as God knew and that was enough for him. Thank you Edward, my faith in humanity has been restored because of good people like you in our strife-torn world.
