Do more and speak less

EDITOR – Response to ‘Gatvol’ and other like-minded people out there.

The monkeys were here long before we decided to cut down their homes and destroy their food sources for our own selfish gain.

They are God-given creatures, they bleed, chitter chatter and cry like us and they love stronger than us. If Gatvol and all the like-minded people would take a minute from their self-absorbed lives just to watch the interaction and love and support between monkeys, for example a troop trying to cross a busy road, they all stick together and wait until the last is across and safe, one cannot help but smile in wonder and thank God for the privilege of these monkeys or any animal for that matter. They do nothing wrong except forage for food and shelter and love unconditionally. We can all learn a thing or 10 from them.

I am sick and tired of seeing these hateful, sick and wicked letters in Southlands Sun each week. Why don’t you wicked people rather spend your overload of time volunteering at Crow, SPCA or anywhere thereby using the little time you’re given on earth in a positive and productive way? Who knows, you might actually start caring one day. In the meantime to these people I say ‘always remember karma’.

TOTALLY FOR THE ANIMALS … CINDY
