WE CURRENTLY HAVE THE FOLLOWING POSITION AVAILABLE: GENERAL MANAGER LICHTENBURG Requirements:
•Need to ensure that departments achieve their monthly KPIs and meet their deadlines.
•Need to be efficiency-driven and streamline and improve processes continuously.
•Ability to thrive under constant pressure.
•Good people skills and ability to communicate well.
•Attention to detail and energetic.
•Need to be open and easily adapt to new and emerging technologies.
•Good experience in negotiating contracts.
•Thorough knowledge of the workings of the SA financial system.
•Sound understanding of accounting principles/practices.
•Sound understanding of the drivetrain of a truck, hydraulics, trailers and tyres.
•Basic knowledge of the Basic conditions of employment act, OHS Act.
•Candidate will report to MD. Minimum requirements:
•BCom. or relevant BSc. degree from a reputable University.
•Minimum 5 year`s experience in a Senior Management position.
•Good experience with a reputable accounting/operating system (Sage, SAP etc.).
•Good Microsoft Office 365 skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). The following will be an added advantage:
•Experience in the transport or commercial vehicles industry.
