THE executive committee (Exco) for the war room on The Bluff recently completed a training programme designed to improve community engagement and streamline communication for residents.
As part of this initiative, ward 66 councillor Zoë Solomon has announced that the war room report log book will now be located at the Grosvenor Library.

The log book will provide a convenient and accessible location for residents to report concerns, share feedback, or raise any issues they feel require attention.
The log book is an essential tool for collecting community input, and with its new location at the Grosvenor Library, residents will be able to easily access it during regular library hours.
For those unable to visit in person, Solomon provided an alternative option.
She said residents can email their remarks and issues directly to the committee secretary, ensuring that all feedback is received and addressed in a timely manner.

She said the executive committee will review the collected reports and compile them into a monthly agenda.
A stakeholder meeting will be held each month to discuss the concerns raised, with the date for these meetings shared across all community platforms.
The committee aims to encourage ongoing public participation
This approach will encourage ongoing participation from residents and foster transparency in addressing their needs.
“Once sufficient evidence has been gathered from the reports, the exco convene, and the date of the first official meeting will be announced,” said Solomon.
This marks an important step towards more effective communication and action within the community, ensuring that residents’ voices are heard and their concerns addressed in a structured manner.
The Exco has encouraged all members of the community to take advantage of the resources provided and actively participate in shaping the future of their neighbourhood.
