“The delivery proved to be a treasure trove of much-needed items, including toilet rolls, soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers and stainless steel bins,” said Naidoo.

With gratitude overflowing, Wasp wasted no time in organising the goods into packages for distribution, eager to extend a helping hand to those in need.

The beneficiaries of this act of kindness spanned across various communities, each touched by the thoughtful donations.

In Merebank, Junagarth Primary School, Alipore Primary School, and the Merewent Athletics Club received support. Meanwhile, The Bluff area saw Saint Monica’s Children’s Home and the Colours of Bliss – School for Autism benefiting from Wasp’s generosity.

In Wentworth, Merewent Cheshire Homes received aid, while Durban South Primary School in Clairwood and Bellair Primary School in Rossburgh/Malvern were also among the recipients.

Chatsworth was also included, with Scdifa Cheshire Homes for Adults and Scdifa Cheshire Children’s Home receiving assistance.

Embodying the ethos that ‘sharing is caring’, Wasp extends its assistance, not only to organisations but also to individual recipients, spreading warmth and compassion throughout the community.

Naidoo said they are immensely grateful to be able to do what they do and make changes in the lives of everyone. He added, “We are also grateful to our sponsors who make everything we do possible.”
