Decked out in different shades of green to honour St. Patrick’s Day, participants immersed themselves in the festive ambiance, radiating infectious joy and enthusiasm. Led by Debbie Peters, whose energy lit up the room as she called out each number with witty banter, the atmosphere buzzed with laughter and excitement.

Beyond the thrill of traditional bingo, attendees were treated to a delightful array of activities curated with care. Sandra Greyling’s collection of prizes added an extra layer of anticipation to the proceedings, while the second-hand stall provided a unique opportunity for guests to indulge in some retail therapy for a worthy cause.

Under Cheryl Waterman, one of the organiser‘s guidance, the ‘Winit in a Minit’ games were a burst of adrenaline, offering lucky participants the chance to win coveted prizes in lightning-fast challenges.

Reflecting on the overwhelming success of the event, Waterman expressed her gratitude, emphasising the remarkable outpouring of support from the community.

“The generosity and enthusiasm of our attendees surpassed all expectations,” she remarked, beaming with pride. “Together, we have not only raised vital funds but also created cherished memories filled with laughter and camaraderie.”

The organisers extended heartfelt thanks to all who had played a part in making the event a resounding success. Their contributions will not only address pressing infrastructure needs but also enrich the lives of those in the community, ensuring that the spirit of compassion continues to flourish.
