Wentworth Angels appeal to the community to assist with Easter egg drive

Wentworth Angels aims to deliver 200 Easter egg hampers to underprivileged children.

FOR more than a decade, Tracey Williams, director of Wentworth Angels, has been at the forefront of an Easter egg drive aimed at bringing joy to underprivileged children in the area.

As Easter approaches, Wentworth Angels once again appeals to the community to participate in their mission to spread happiness by gathering donations for Easter egg packs for less fortunate children.

“Every year it fills our hearts with warmth to see the joy on the faces of these children,” said Williams. “But we can’t do it alone. We need the support of our community to make this Easter special for as many children as possible, because the reality is people don’t have money to celebrate these festivities.”

The Easter egg drive extends beyond Wentworth, reaching neighbouring communities as well. Williams said their intention is to travel around, distributing Easter egg packs to children in various areas.

This year, Wentworth Angels aims to assemble 200 packs, each containing an array of Easter eggs to bring joy to the children. To meet this target, they rely on the generosity of individuals and local businesses.

Those willing to contribute to the Easter egg drive can deposit funds into the organisation’s bank account at:
