Upscaling of police trucking unit to bring relief to south Durban residents [Video]
After months of persistence, more resources will finally be made available at the metro police trucking unit situated in Clairwood.
A NEWLY passed motion to increase resources within the metro police, in order to address the trucking issues which have resulted in damaged infrastructure and lives being endangered in the south Durban area, will bring great relief to residents.

Gavin Hegter, Ward 64 councillor and DA Whip of the Community Services Committee, said that together with Zoe Solomon, Ward 66 councillor and DA Whip of the Emergency and Security Services Committee, they had tabled a notice of motion calling for more resources to be made available at the metro police trucking unit situated in Clairwood, earlier this year.
After months of waiting, the motion was adopted by Council last week.
