Pharmacy owner shot and killed during robbery

A female patron was shot in her leg, while one of the perpetrators assaulted her son.

When Shaheed Moosa and his dad Ahmed, 85, left mosque after their Friday prayer to reopen their pharmacy in Austerville on June 30, they did not know that a few moments later, there would be bloodshed.

Shaheed said he watched helplessly as armed robbers stormed into Austerville Pharmacy and Clinic at about 13:40 and opened fire before they robbed staff and patrons, making off with cash from the till and nothing else.
