PHOTOS: Elders treated to free wellness day

Residents from Merebank, Wentworth and The Bluff utilised the services offered at the day clinic, and were also pampered at a nail bar, where they could get a manicure or pedicure.

THE Durban South Service Centre (DSSC) hosted a health and wellness clinic in Merebank, where elderly residents were given the opportunity to access various healthcare screenings, free of charge.

Among those who provided services at the clinic, on March 29, were Netcare St Augustines healthcare staff, as well as an optometrist, nurses from the non-profit organisation, Medi Skills, BAFDT grief counselling, and Pink Drive.

Sharin Rajmin, from DSSC, thanked all role-players who assisted by offering their services, free of charge, to those in their golden years.

Pensioners were also assisted with rate rebate renewals and provided with breakfast and lunch.
