WATCH: Learners embark on food donation initiative

THE Bluff Christian Academy is proud to announce their latest community project titled ‘Jar of Hope’, where the community can get involved in filling glass jars with dry ingredients which will be donated to organisations.

The school has collected the bottles and appeal to parents to donate the ingredients. Together, parents and learners have filled many of the jars, which have instructions on the bottles as to how the meal can be prepared.

“We have lots of bottles, but not enough ingredients. Some of the ingredients which can be donated include pasta, rice, soup mix, lentils, stock powder and soup. We hope the community will get involved and helps us to provide warm meals to deserving residents who cannot afford it,” said Pikwa.
