Residents rally to clean Montclair

Illegal dumping signs were also erected at Hotspot areas.

HARD-WORKING Montclair residents have taken it upon themselves to maintain their community at their own cost, and got their hands dirty during a clean-up, recently.

Helmina Ngalonkulu and Mxolisi Mjali got down to business and worked for several hours to clean the area.

Partnering with DSW to trim grass along the pavements along Blamey Road, as well as clearing illegal dumping, residents of all ages volunteered and left the area looking neat and clean.

The clean-up gained the support of young and old residents.

Blamey Road resident, Janine Ferguson, said she was proud of the residents who came out and worked for many hours to restore the area and thanked DSW workers who joined the efforts of the community.
Illegal dumping signs were also erected at Hotspot areas.

Pavements were left clean and neat after the initiative.
