Residents encouraged to attend meeting on electricity crisis

The fraudulency of Eskom and the ongoing electricity crisis in South Africa will be discussed.

THE South Durban Community Environmental Alliance (SCDEA) and Right2Know (R2K) invite residents to an informative meeting on the current electricity crisis that communities are faced with.

The meeting will be held at the Merebank Community Centre on February 8 from 17:00 to 19:00.

Kershni Ramreddi, the project officer at SCDEA, said, “SDCEA and R2K will discuss the fraudulency of Eskom as well as the ongoing electricity crisis in South Africa.

“We will also ask community members to share their experiences so that we can determine a way forward.”
