Bluff residents urged to join placard demonstration against load-shedding

WARD 66 councillor Zoë Solomon is calling on residents to raise their voices against the ongoing load-shedding at a placard demonstration set to take place at the corner of Bluff Road and Solomon Mahlangu Drive on Wednesday, January 25.

Solomon said the demonstration was aimed at standing in solidarity with all South Africans who are suffering due to load-shedding, which can last for several hours at a time.

“It is the gross mismanagement of Eskom that has caused untold damages to infrastructure, the loss of food and has affected businesses throughout the country and the economy.

“We are staging a placard demonstration to offer a platform for anyone to raise their voices,” she said.
