WATCH: Organisation brings Christmas joy for people living with disabilities

Non-profit organisation Abbaquar San Dream Centre, in partnership with Cell C Bluff, hosted a Christmas party for people in the community with disabilities.

SOUNDS of jubilation echoed as over 100 people living with physical disabilities were treated to a morning of entertainment, scrumptious meals and gifts.

The Christmas party, which was organised by the non-profit organisation, Abbaquar San Dream Centre, in partnership with Cell C Bluff, was held at the Silvertree Hall in Wentworth on Thursday, December 8.

 

A Christmas party was held for people living with disabilities.

Chieftess Olivia Jones, the chairperson of the non-profit organisation, said their aim was to bring joy to the lives of people living with disabilities over the festive season.

“It was an amazing feeling to see all of their big smiles – that was the best reward,” she said.

Those in attendance were also given the opportunity to showcase their talents, from singing to dancing.
