The Bluff brothers, who are members of the Seagulls swimming club in the Bluff, joined the marine nippers club this season and were proud to have completed the challenge. Their dad, Ronald Naidoo, said his sons love the water and the sea, and love spending time at the Lieutenant King municipal pool in the Bluff as often as possible.

“Swimming is a passion they share and it is also a great way for them to spend time together to bond. They have dreams of winning the upcoming nipper carnivals and open water swims they have entered. The next competition they are training for is on December 11, at Baynesfield Dam,” said their proud dad.

While Riley had his first experience swimming the Midmar Mile in 2020, it was the first time that Ryder and Reichlin have entered.

They were excited to have competed in the challenge alongside their big brother and the trio look forward to competing in the next Capital K challenge.
