Lovingly stuffing and sewing 149 pillows, members of the institute were proud to hand over the donation in support of Reach for Recovery’s recent Breast Cancer Awareness Month celebrations.

President of YWPWI, Vanessa Wilesmith, said the pillows were included in the care bags given to breast cancer patients after surgery.

“Jenny Caldwell from Reach for Recovery attended our October monthly meeting and gave an informative talk on all the programmes run by the organisation. Members dressed in pink to show our support to the women and men with breast cancer. This sparked our gesture of love,” said Wilesmith.
