ATHLETES are encouraged to put on their running shoes and participate in the 48th Yellowwood Park Stainbank Cup set to place on December 4, starting in Barbet Road, from 06:00.

The 15km race is hosted by the Yellowwood Park Athletic Club, and sponsored Beds2Go. Martin Birtwhistle, the club chairperson said due to the flood damages, the route has been slightly changed.
“The race traditionally included 5kms of the Kenneth Stainbank Nature Reserve, however, we have incorporated around 4kms of the picturesque Reserve. The possibility of athletes sighting Zebras, Bushbucks and Impalas on their way around the Reserve is very high,” he said.
