South Durban residents prepare for water disruption tomorrow

A water supply disruption will occur in several areas in the south Durban area due to Umgeni Water conducting urgent maintenance work on the treatment plant.

Residents and businesses are advised of a disruption of water supply to areas supplied by the Wiggin’s Water Treatment Plant on November 15.

According to the eThekwini Municipality, the cause of the disruption is due to Umgeni Water conducting urgent maintenance work on the treatment plant.

The disruption will start at 08:00 and continue until 20:00.

Some of the areas in south Durban that will be affected include Fynnlands, Ocean View, Grosvenor, Clairwood, Bluff, Jacobs, Brighton Beach, Merewent and Bayhead, among others.
