Residents urged to get involved in spring beach clean-up

During the four-day campaign, you can choose a beach to clean up from Treasure Beach to the army fence situated in the Bluff.

RESIDENTS from Bluff are encouraged to join a spring clean-up campaign at Treasure Beach from September 12 to 15.
The four-day campaign is aimed at cleaning beaches from Treasure Beach to the army fence situated in the Bluff.
Ward 66 councillor Zoe Solomon said the clean-up was spearheaded by SODURBA and South Durban Basin’s Area Based Management (ABM).

“Residents can follow my Facebook page where I will update the progress daily, as well as for locations of the clean-ups so that anyone who wishes to participate can join us. Rakes, bags and gloves will be provided. We are proud to be a part of the City’s Spring Clean Campaign, and we choose our littered beaches to clean up,” Solomon said.
