Electricity supply interruption to affect Bluff and surrounding areas
During the outage, the public is advised to treat all electrical installations as live.
Electricity supply to Bayhead, Bluff, Wentworth, Brighton Beach, Island View, Jacobs and Edwin Swales will be interrupted this Saturday, September 3.
According to eThekwini Municipality, the necessary outage will be from 08:00 to 16:00, and is due to the electricity department safely maintaining the 132kV busbar at Rossburgh Substation, which will improve the reliability of supply.
