Pay your outstanding traffic fines or else – metro police
The metro police have embarked on a campaign to collect outstanding traffic fines from motorists through roadblocks.
THE metro police have announced that they have rolled out a campaign to collect outstanding fines from motorists.

This will be done by roadblocks that will be conducted across all areas of eThekwini. Metro police spokesperson Colonel Boysie Zungu said that those who are found to have outstanding fines will be offered a chance to pay a settlement on the spot. If they are unable to pay, Zungu said they face arrest and further penalties.
“These fines are not just about paying a fee; they are about promoting road safety and accountability. Let’s work together to keep our roads safe and comply with the law,” he said.
Motorists can send an email to TrafficFines@durban.gov.za to check if they have any outstanding fines.
