Bluff Towers recognises community heroes

The Bluff Towers Community Heroes competition looked to acknowledge those in the community who are active in making the community a better place.

BLUFF Towers, a shopping mall in The Bluff, officially announced the winners of its Community Heroes Competition which honours individuals who have made significant contributions to the community.

The competition received an enthusiastic response, with a total of 1 390 votes cast by community members and shoppers.

Noluthando Cele, marketing manager for Bluff Towers, expressed her joy over the campaign’s success. “We were very happy with the results as these were voted by the community, and the voters are our shoppers. We are truly honoured to plan and execute such a campaign. We are incredibly grateful for your enthusiastic support in nominating such deserving individuals for our Bluff Towers Community Hero Competition,” said Cele.

First place went to Siyanda Dlamini, who won a R7 000 Bluff Towers voucher. Second place was awarded to Taryn Dressing, who received a R5 000 Bluff Towers voucher. Roshni Naicker took third place and a R4 000 Bluff Towers voucher while fourth place went to Sister Allison Andrews with a R3 000 Bluff Towers voucher. Lungisani Mdunge claimed fifth place, winning a R2 000 Bluff Towers voucher.

Dlamini expressed his gratitude for the award, saying, “Thank you so much to the Bluff Towers centre management officer for organising this wonderful initiative! I’m truly grateful and humbled to have been a part of it. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to those who nominated me and especially to those who voted for me. Your support and recognition mean the world to me. A big congratulations to my fellow nominees for their work is just as important, and we are all together making a big difference in the community.”

The Bluff Towers Community Heroes Competition has highlighted the remarkable efforts of individuals making a difference in the community, showcasing their dedication and inspiring others to follow in their footsteps.
