Merle Henning, the media liaison and primary contact for Hocus Pocus Help, emphasised that their efforts extend beyond the local community, reaching families in various areas who are in desperate need of assistance.

“Our mission is to support families by providing essential food, clothing and household items. We strive to help them navigate challenging times with dignity, compassion and a sense of community,” Henning explained.

Currently, the organisation is seeking specific donations to continue its crucial work. “We are in urgent need of non-perishable foods, clothing (especially children’s clothing) and blankets. These items are vital for helping families stay warm and nourished,” Henning stressed.

Those interested in donating can contact Merle Henning on 060 986 9403. Donations can also be dropped off at their office located at 259 Marine Drive, The Bluff.

Henning noted that public generosity significantly impacts the lives of the families they support.
