Organised by Glynis Hamiel, principal of New Generation Educare, and Kendra Perumal, deputy principal of Sunbeam Pre-Primary, the event highlighted the spirit of teamwork and camaraderie among the young athletes and their families.

“Teamwork makes the dream work,” remarked Romany Roberts from Sunbeam Pre-Primary, underscoring the collaborative effort behind the successful day.

The sports day offered a platform for parents and families to support their children and witness their impressive development first-hand. Roberts noted that the event celebrated the multifaceted growth of the young learners, from honing hand-eye coordination to fostering social skills and teamwork.

“Learners eagerly participated in various races, showcasing their agility and enthusiasm. Beyond traditional races, fun activities like tug of war for parents and specialised races for mothers, fathers, and even grandmothers added an extra layer of joy and excitement,” said Roberts.

Roberts expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the parents and families who turned out in large numbers to champion their children’s endeavours during these formative years.
