JUST IN: Man critical, survives shooting on The Bluff
The police were already on the scene when paramedics arrived.
PARAMEDICS have stabilised a man in Carlton Avenue on The Bluff after he was shot in his abdomen, a short while ago.
Although details surrounding the shooting are unclear, spokesperson for ALS Paramedics, Garrith Jamieson, said when paramedics arrived at the scene, the police were already there.

“One male, believed to be in his forties, sustained a gunshot wound to his abdomen. He was in a serious condition and was stabilised before he was rushed to a nearby hospital for the further care that he required,” said Jamieson.
Police are investigating.
