WATCH: Bluff Road repairs underway after burst water pipe

The stormwater drainage system is being repaired at the same time.

WARD 66 councillor Zoë Solomon has urged motorists to find alternate routes as repairs to parts of Bluff Road, which collapsed due to a burst water pipe, are currently underway.

The repairs to the road come after the 400mm pipe, which supplies The Bluff with water from the Woodlands Reservoir, had burst last week, leaving residents without water for about four days.

Solomon said the water has since been restored, and there is progress in the road infrastructure being repaired and replaced.
