THE marsh owl who was rescued after he was stuck in a glue trap in Isipingo is well on his way to recovery at the Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (Crow).
The centre’s operations director, Clint Halkett-Siddall, said the sticky residue is now completely removed.

“The owl has been placed in our ICU enclosure. He is going to stay with us for quite some time as the sticky residue did damage his feathers so he will have to go through a moult. He was underweight and possibly had a broken wing. Our dedicated nurses are providing him with the best care and medication around the clock. We are committed to nursing him back to health,” said Halkett-Siddall.
