Scores of families joined the centre’s Autism Awareness Walk recently and heeded the call to help create a support structure for families who have children with disabilities.

Amahle Hlophe said the centre is dedicated to children with moderate to severe physical and mental disabilities and those with ASD. It strives to foster, promote, encourage, advance and develop therapy and educational services for children with all types of disabilities. The centre strives to develop a firm foundation for disabled children.

“We welcome individuals with multiple disabilities and those deemed severe, many of whom would be denied acceptance at other educational facilities, including daycare centres. We hope that by creating awareness, we can help many other children in the community. We thank all those who came out to support us and the children in our care,” added Hlophe.
