WITH an aim of supporting local vendors selling gifts, festive décor and crafts, to name a few, the Pavilion Shopping Centre will be hosting a Candy Cane Christmas Village Market this December.

The market, taking place undercover in Parking B (outside Entrance 5), will commence from December 15 and end on December 23.

“To titillate your festive taste buds, the centre brings you the Candy Cane Christmas Village Market to support local vendors selling gifting, festive décor, artisanal homemade gifts and crafts, a festive light experience and characters that will keep the families entertained.  In addition, you can enjoy live music, with a kiddie play zone and plenty of food to enjoy while you shop,” said the centre in the statement.

The centre highlighted that all relevant local vendors are allowed to sell their products at the market.

“With this being the summer holidays, the best time of year, it gives us plenty of opportunities to spend time with those we love. This festive season is also about giving thanks and gratitude, as well as the time for giving. Holiday traditions are an important aspect of building a strong bond between family and our community, with the centre’s mandate being that of not just celebrating our community but supporting them, as well,” it added.

The centre alluded that all local residents will get an opportunity to take a photo with Santa and that all proceeds will be used to support St Martins Children’s Home. Local residents can enjoy all this entertainment between 17:00 and 22:00 for only R60. Tickets are available at Webtickets and Pick ‘n Pay Supermarkets.
