Nail preparations for the 2022 Hollywoodbets Durban July
First-time Durban July attendee, Nia Louw, went all out with bee-themed nail art for the historic South African event on Saturday.
THIS year, South Africa’s prestigious horse racing event has partnered with Hollywoodbets to deliver an unforgettably sweet experience. Head to the Greyville Racecourse on Saturday, July 2, for a buzzing event that will include elements of fashion, entertainment and sports.
This year, the theme is ‘Show Me the Honey’ so we can expect to see iconic looks and decor at the historic South African event.
The theme allows for an endless stream of outfit possibilities, and Durban’s fashionistas never disappoint!
Yellow, gold, black and white are the primary colours on the menu with beautiful aesthetics such as honeycomb designs, bee designs, floral designs, and honey designs to choose from.

It is not only outfit choices that can display the theme; you can rock some bold designs on your nails, too!
This year, Berea Mail journalist Nia Louw will be attending the Durban July for the first time, and to prepare for the momentous occasion, she has adorned her nails with fun bee-related designs.
