Keep your children busy at CROW’s holiday club

They have a full programme of fun activities designed to re-enforce the key principles of environmental conservation.

IF you are looking for something fun and different to keep the children occupied this coming holiday, look no further than the Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife’s (CROW) holiday club.

CROW’s Holiday Club is back and will be running every day from 08:00 to 13:30 from June 27 to July 8. The cost is R150 a day, and they will be offering a fun-filled programme, specially designed for children aged from 8 to 15 years.

The venue is CROW’s Environmental Education Centre at 15A Codemore Avenue, Yellowwood Park.
“It is a fun-filled educational experience in a unique setting that will keep your children entertained and enthralled during these winter school holidays,“ said CROW’s operations director, Clint Halkett-Siddall.

Activities include interactive environmental education lessons; festival craft projects and eco-friendly art lessons; local wildlife puzzles and quizzes; helping to prepare daily enrichment activities for the animals at CROW, and a field trip to Kenneth Stainbank Nature Reserve.

Space is limited and pre-booking is essential, so book early to avoid disappointment. All proceeds raised will go directly towards helping injured and orphaned wildlife at CROW.
