Never New Fashion Fair

Looking to spice up your wardrobe? Well, look no further – the Never New Fashion Fair will be taking place on June 4 at Fairway Drive in Durban North between 10:00 to 14:00. Local fashionistas will sell some of their pre-loved clothes, accessories and shoes. Entrance fee is R40, and every person gets a free coffee on arrival. Happy shopping!

I Heart Market

The I Heart Market, which takes place on the Moses Mabhida Stadium lawns this Saturday, June 4 from 08:30 to 14:00, is not just a ‘pop in and out’ affair; it is designed to make you want to take a leisurely stroll through the various stalls, make contact with the artists, crafters, and artisans who have created their wares with love and care, as well as relax in the sun and sample the delectable culinary foods on offer. Entrance is free, and dogs are allowed.

I’M BAD – A Michael Jackson Show

The Rhumbelow Theatre 42 at Cunningham Rd, off Bartle Road, will present I’M BAD, featuring Michael Jackson’s doppelganger, Michael Jonathan, and dancers Marlise Burger, Citi K. Matleila and Siya Richard Bhengu. Michael and his crew want to ‘trill’ you with their abilities since they are ‘dangerous’ at what they do. On Friday, June 3 and Saturday, June 4, the show will commence at 19:00, and on Sunday, June 5, it will begin at 14:00. Email: roland@stansell.co.za to make your booking. Careways Winter Market

The Careways winter market will host their winter market on Saturday, June 4, at the Kloof Country Club Cricket Grounds from 10:00 to 16:00. Shoppers can look forward to a variety of choices, such as clothing, jewellery, toys, books, artisanal sauces, skincare products and craft items. There will be crafts and activities for children and delicious food on sale, as well. For those interested in trading, contact Tina on: 082 897 0085; the vendor fee is R200.

Fun Run / Walk 

Save Saturday, June 4 for a 5km Family Fun Run/Walk hosted at Morewood Farm. The fun run/walk will be held at 64a Springside Road, Hillcrest, by the Organ Donor Foundation in conjunction with Hero777, SANBS, KZN Transplant Sports Association and KZN Eyebank. Registration kicks off at 08:00, so get there early to sign up as an organ and tissue donor. The first 350 registrants will get a free Organ Donor Foundation T-shirt. The runners will hit the track at 10:00. For those who cannot manage 5km, there is a shorter 2km trail to enjoy.
