Yellowwood Park sub-forum to host CPF election

The election will be held at Yellowwood Park Primary School on Wednesday, March 2 at 18:00.

THE Yellowwood Park sub-forum invites residents to its election on Wednesday, March 2, from 18:00 at Yellowwood Park Primary School. The proposed term of office is five years.

The office encourages participation in this process as it is in the interest of the community. Residents can either nominate members of the local community or themselves.

Your selfless volunteer efforts can build a strong active, vibrant and successful sub-forum to participate in the prevention of crime together with SAPS Montclair.

The following positions are open for nomination: chairperson, deputy chairperson, secretary, deputy secretary, treasurer, public relations officer and three community members.

The sub-forum comprises religious leaders, security companies, businesses, NGOs, the youth and community. It is the composition of the general public (residents, organisations and institutions), who are broadly representatives of the community in the Yellowwood Park section of the Montclair policing precinct.

Nomination boxes and forms will be placed at the Exotic Curtains and Homes shop on 561 South Coast Road, Clairwood, as well as at the Yellowwood Park Civic Centre on 1 Pelican Place, Yellowwood Park.

For clarity and or more information, call the CPF secretary Chris Mhlongo on 072 870 5202 or Sergeant Noma Mnguni 083 761 1228.
